This trip has easy flying conditions so is good for low airtime, nervous, rusty, club pilots who want to build up some confidence and get some airtime in. It’s a good venue for anyone just wanting to get away from the cold wet UK weather and get in the air in the sun. We have been running trips in Morocco for the last 15 years twice a year and only ever had the majority of days flyable. The worst we have had is only 10 days flying out of 14 and the best was the full 14. Thats why it’s become our regular beginning and end of season playground.
The majority of flying is costal so reliable sea breezes, weak thermals, long ridges with big wide-open spaces to land. If your low airtime its a great place to progress and build your skills. We will work towards getting some of your pilot tasks signed off and set small challenges for you to give you something to work towards during your flight.
We stay at Mirleft a small sleepy fishing village 2 hours south of Agadir, far away from the hustle and bustle of the larger towns and cities. making it a relaxed, take it easy and chill out kind of place. we generally head out 10,30am and return at the end of the day around 5pm, sometimes later.
Airport transfers are included if you arrive with the main group and if not, we can arrange you a private taxi which will be cheaper than you getting one outside the airport.
The food is something else Moroccan Tagine if you haven’t ever tried one then you’re in for a real treat. vegetarian options also available.
